International Symposium on Accounting Information Systems

ISAIS provides a global forum for bringing together researchers that are active on the nexus of the Accounting field and the Information Systems field to discuss and critique leading-edge research in the field. The emphasis of the symposium is on interaction, discussion, and debate in a friendly, supportive and relaxed atmosphere.  It rotates annually between the USA, Australia, and Europe.

History

The International Symposium on Accounting Information Systems (ISAIS) is a unification of the former Accounting Informations Systems (AIS) Research Symposium, the European Conference on AIS, the Asia-Pacific Research Symposium on AIS, and the International Research Symposium on Accounting Information Systems. The first edition was in 2010 and the symposium rotates annually between the USA, Australia, and Europe.

The AIS research field identifies itself by its cross-discipline character. The objective of ISAIS is to bring together researchers from all disciplines related to the Accounting and Information Systems field of research.
